Submission Criteria
Main Chapter
Information
This will make up the majority of the book project. Only one photo per dog can be submitted for this chapter. Preferably photos submitted should be a stacked or a head shot pose, although this is not required. Captions for these photos must include registered name, but can be expanded to include information such as date of birth, coat type or sex (if not obvious from photo), breeder, owner, etc. These photos will be presented in color, if received in color, and posted with four photos to a page.
Please see the General Questionnaire and vote for whether you would prefer this chapter to be ordered by name or kennel.
Puppy Chapter
Information
This chapter will be a couple of pages dedicated to puppy breath and cute beezers before they grew into their ears. Open submissions will be accepted until a TBD date. Depending on the amount of submissions to this chapter, a vote before publishing may take place to pick the best ones. Before publishing a vote will be held to pick a couple of full page photos. In total I would love to present about 20-40 puppy photos. These photos don’t have to be posed, candids would be ideal and anything from the time frame of day one to 6 months of age. There can be adults and puppies in the same photo, but there must be a puppy for the photo to be considered in this chapter. Captions to these photos are not mandatory.
Hunting/Lure Coursing
Information
The hunting/coursing chapter will be dedicated to our beautiful breed’s true purpose. Any photos of Ibizans in action are welcomed. Open submissions will be accepted until a TBD date. Depending on the amount of submissions to this chapter, a vote before publishing may take place to pick the best ones. Before publishing a vote will be held to pick a couple of full page photos. Captions to these photos are not mandatory. I would like to possibly consider getting a person (or persons) who hunts or has seen the Ibizan hunting to write an article about the breed and its hunting style, experiences, etc. I would be willing to print the article in two languages if a Spanish/English translation (or other language) is provided by the author. Fun Chapter, Parting Thoughts
Information
For some fun, the last chapter of the book will be the Parting Thoughts chapter. This is an open submission chapter for stories accompanied by photos, anecdotes without photos, or photos of Beezers being Beezers. These articles will then be collaged together into the last pages of the book. The stories and anecdotes are not required to have names attached to them. Depending on the amount of submissions to this chapter, a vote before publishing may take place to pick the best ones, but hopefully we will have lots of submissions to choose from. This would also be a good chapter to include pictures from past specialties and events. Also pictures of Ibizans doing performace events such as agility, flyball, obedience, etc... I am willing to expand this chapter to allow as much in as possible.
